Our experience of SRI LANKA

We decided in Pulua Weh off the coast of Samartar that instead of going up the Red Sea we would be going off to Sri Lanka and from there to India for six months overland travling.

In Sri Lanka the only habour was Port Galle which was filled with military forces because of the ongoing war with the Tamils
,when we got back from overland traveling in Kandy and Nuwera Eliya which had a large variety of vegetables and tea plants we were asked to move for the safety of our boat because two large chopper helicopters would be coming in at 6:00 am that morning , we moved but they didn't come until later that afternoon they caused no damage but later the damage was caused by an alarmingly large tug boat who almost knocked out 4 boats including us but only sideswiped one.we left quickly the next day ready for India.

From Langkawi to Phuket!

Hey there! We travelled a huge distance from Langkawi to Phuket around 110nms- in a lesuirely 10 days. Schooling and partying with friends from "Blue Moon of Oz", with Sarah, John, Natasha and James on board many good times had by all.
Hope you enjoy some of the shots-there's some of Sarah and I doing yoga in a fantastic "HONG" (Thai name for room) should go on the list for one of the most unique places in the world for a yoga session. Ko Muk west coast Thailand.
Any questions on where anything is just ask!!!
There's shots of Bella's birthday at Rebak Island Resort, the "Barefoot Boat Kids" being taken out to the movies by the resort manager and his wife........
Now in Phuket-
Uli has just survived a root canal at the dentist & is slightly shell shocked to say the least. Well Bangko airports are closed but we're fine looking forward to getting 2 massive new fridges in, sails cut down- new tarps... the list just goes on- but we'll head across the oceans mid January.
Will blog more soon-King's cup has just started great NE's up for the races so should be entertaining if we can see any from where we're moving to this afternoon-Nia Harn SW corner bottom of Phuket.....
